How did the AI prediction hold up?
Touchdown Week's AI Prediction had the Bills winning, with a projected score of Patriots 16, Bills 30 at high confidence. The pick missed, with the Patriots winning instead. The worst of the week: Buffalo was the widest lean on the board at 78 percent. Drake Maye, who had six interceptions in three games, threw three touchdown passes and ran for 54 yards, and his 23-yard pass to Efton Chism III in the fourth quarter won it. New England outgained Buffalo 405 to 340 without two starting guards, and D.J. Moore left with a shoulder injury. The model read too much into the Patriots' 35-6 loss a week earlier.
