Hunter Henry is a 10-year NFL veteran tight end who starred at Arkansas before launching his pro career with the Chargers. A unanimous All-American in college, he has been a reliable target throughout his time in Los Angeles and New England. In 2025 he played a full 17-game slate and helped power a Patriots playoff run.
Path to the league
Henry played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks, where he earned unanimous All-American honors in 2015 and won the Mackey Award as the nation's top tight end. He entered the NFL as a second-round pick of the San Diego Chargers in 2016 before signing with New England in 2021.
Career highlights
Henry has been one of the more dependable pass-catching tight ends of his generation. In 2025 he became the fifth tight end in Patriots history to reach 200 career receptions, per the team. He has reeled in at least 60 passes in three different seasons.
2025 season
Henry caught 60 of 87 targets for a career-high 768 yards and seven touchdowns over all 17 regular-season games, appearing in every contest for the first time since 2022. His seven scores were his most since 2021. In the postseason he added nine catches for 112 yards and a touchdown over four games as New England advanced deep into the playoffs.
