Ahmani Marshall is a running back who signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2025 after a productive final season at Appalachian State. The Winston-Salem, North Carolina native began his college career at Wake Forest before transferring in-state and becoming a featured back for the Mountaineers.
Path to the league
Marshall played sparingly at Wake Forest from 2020 to 2021, carrying just 29 times for 121 yards, before transferring to Appalachian State. Over three seasons with the Mountaineers from 2022 to 2024, he rushed for 1,167 yards and 13 touchdowns while adding 15 receptions.
Career highlights
Marshall's best season came as a senior in 2024, when he was named third-team All-Sun Belt after rushing for a team-high 713 yards and seven touchdowns on 149 carries while appearing in all 11 games. He went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft and signed with the Cleveland Browns on May 9, 2025.
