Jones played six seasons at Louisiana from 2017 to 2022, totaling 209 tackles, 30 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks and four forced fumbles as an outside linebacker, earning Second-Team All-Sun Belt honors as a senior in 2022. The Washington Commanders selected him in the seventh round, 233rd overall, of the 2023 NFL Draft.
