Audric Estime built his reputation at Notre Dame as a between-the-tackles power runner, and that identity has carried him through an eventful start to his pro career. After beginning in Denver, he now grinds out yards behind the Saints' offensive line, still looking to prove his college production translates into a featured NFL role.

Path to the league

Estime starred at Notre Dame from 2021 to 2023, capping his career with 210 carries for 1,341 yards and a school-record 18 rushing touchdowns as a junior. The Denver Broncos drafted him in the fifth round (147th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft after he left South Bend as one of the most productive backs in program history.

Career highlights

At Notre Dame, Estime finished with 373 carries for 2,321 yards and 29 touchdowns, ranking among the top rushers in program annals. As a rookie in Denver, he played all 13 games available to him, running for 310 yards and two scores on 76 carries while also chipping in as a receiver.

2025 season recap

Estime's 2025 season took a winding path: Denver waived him in late August, Philadelphia briefly added him to its practice squad before releasing him in October, and he landed on New Orleans' practice squad before earning a promotion to the active roster in November. Once with the Saints, he appeared in seven games, rushing for 198 yards and a touchdown on 46 carries while adding 12 receptions for 103 yards.
