Bill Norton is a 6-foot-5, 325-pound defensive lineman who won two CFP national championships as part of Georgia's roster before transferring to Arizona and then Texas, where he became a regular contributor. He signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2025.
Path to the league
A Memphis, Tennessee native out of Christian Brothers High School, where he earned Tennessee's DII-AAA Mr. Football honors, Norton was a four-star recruit who chose Georgia over Alabama, LSU, and Ohio State. He redshirted and played a reserve role there from 2019 to 2022 before transferring to Arizona in 2023 and Texas in 2024.
Career highlights
Norton was part of Georgia's back-to-back national championship teams in 2021 and 2022. He earned a larger role after transferring, posting 32 tackles with 2.5 for loss at Arizona in 2023, then recording 14 tackles including a sack and a forced fumble in 15 games at Texas in 2024.
2025 season recap
Norton signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2025 but was waived on August 26 during roster cuts. He was quickly brought back to the practice squad and now holds a reserve/futures contract with Los Angeles.
