Path to the league
A Fond du Lac, Wisconsin native, Allen reclassified in high school to graduate early and enroll at Wisconsin, becoming one of the youngest major college football players in the country. Over his Badgers career he rushed for 3,494 yards, ninth-most in program history, and 35 touchdowns, joining Jonathan Taylor as the only Wisconsin backs with at least 150 carries, 10 touchdowns and 5.25 yards per carry in three separate seasons.
