Caleb Douglas is a long, fast wide receiver who found his footing at Texas Tech after two injury-shortened seasons at Florida. The Houston-area native put together back-to-back 800-yard seasons for the Red Raiders before the Dolphins made him the third-round pick of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Path to the league
Douglas was a four-star recruit out of Hightower High School near Houston who signed with Florida over offers from USC, LSU and Notre Dame. After two seasons in Gainesville limited by injury, he transferred to Texas Tech ahead of the 2024 season and became a featured target. Miami selected him with the 75th overall pick in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
