An undrafted South Dakota State product who clawed his way from the practice squad to become one of the NFC's most productive tackling linebackers.

Christian Rozeboom's path to NFL relevance ran through the practice squad, but the South Dakota State product has since become a fixture at the heart of opposing offenses' game plans. After years of steady growth with the Rams, he broke out fully with Carolina in 2025 before signing on to bring his tackling instincts to a new defense.

Path to the league

Rozeboom was a four-year starter at South Dakota State who led the program in tackles all four seasons, was a consensus All-American as a senior, and finished as the school's all-time leading tackler with 475 career stops. He went undrafted in 2020 and signed with the Los Angeles Rams, bouncing between their practice squad and the Kansas City Chiefs before sticking with Los Angeles.

Career highlights

Rozeboom worked his way up the Rams' depth chart over several seasons, eventually becoming a full-time starter. He broke out in 2024 with a career-high 135 total tackles, 1.0 sacks, four pass defenses and an interception, establishing himself as one of the league's most active off-ball linebackers.

2025 season recap

Rozeboom signed with the Carolina Panthers for 2025 and started 15 games, recording 122 total tackles, 2.0 sacks and an interception while setting a personal season-high with 7.0 tackles for loss. He was Carolina's leading tackler as the team won the NFC South.
