Dalton Cooper is a massive, well-traveled offensive tackle who built a reputation as a durable left tackle across two college programs. After going undrafted in 2025, he found a home protecting quarterbacks for the Green Bay Packers.
Path to the league
A three-star recruit out of Prague, Oklahoma, Cooper started his college career at Texas State, redshirting in 2019 before becoming a starter from 2020 through 2022. He transferred to Oklahoma State for 2023 and 2024, starting at left tackle and earning honorable mention All-Big 12 honors in 2023. Across both schools, Cooper started 57 games.
Career highlights
Cooper logged roughly 2,400 snaps at left tackle over three seasons and even picked up starts at right tackle, giving him experience on both sides of the line. He capped his college career with an invitation to the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl after a 2024 season cut short by a knee injury.
2025 season recap
Undrafted in 2025, Cooper signed with the Kansas City Chiefs but was waived in final roster cuts. The Green Bay Packers picked him up for their practice squad in late August 2025, and he later converted to a reserve/future contract with the team in January 2026, continuing to develop as offensive line depth.
