Damonic Williams built his reputation early, starting as a true freshman on a TCU team that reached the College Football Playoff National Championship. After transferring to Oklahoma for 2024 and 2025, the California native signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL Draft.

Path to the league

Williams grew up in Torrance, California, and attended Mission Hills High School in San Marcos, enrolling early at TCU in 2022 after committing over California. He started all 15 games as a true freshman for a Horned Frogs team that advanced to the national title game, recording 27 tackles with 4.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks and earning freshman All-America honors.

Career highlights

Williams started 12 games as a TCU sophomore in 2023, adding 33 tackles with five for loss and three sacks, and picked up honorable mention All-Big 12 recognition. He then entered the transfer portal and moved to Oklahoma, where he played out the final two years of his college career.

2025 season recap

In his lone season at Oklahoma, Williams served as a team captain and started 11 of 12 games, finishing with 27 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and three quarterback hurries. He went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft but signed with the Arizona Cardinals as a free agent on April 28, 2026.
