Daylen Everette joins Pittsburgh's cornerback room as a third-round rookie out of Georgia, where he played a key role in the Bulldogs' secondary for several seasons. His combination of size and top-end speed made him one of the more sought-after cover corners in his draft class.
Path to the league
A five-star recruit out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, Everette signed with Georgia and started for the Bulldogs across multiple seasons. The Pittsburgh Steelers selected him in the third round, 85th overall, of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Everette played in 55 games at Georgia, recording 150 tackles, five tackles for loss, five interceptions and 24 passes defended. He earned 2025 All-SEC recognition from the Associated Press and was also named to the SEC Coaches' All-SEC third team.

In his final college season, Everette was a key contributor to Georgia's secondary, earning All-SEC honors. At the NFL Scouting Combine that followed, he ran a 4.38-second 40-yard dash, the second-fastest time among all cornerbacks in his class.
