Devon Marshall arrives in Jacksonville as an undrafted rookie with a résumé that reads like a draft pick's. After starting his career at the FCS level, he transferred up to NC State and became one of the most disruptive cover corners in the country, and now he is fighting for a roster spot in a crowded Jaguars secondary.
Path to the league
Marshall began his college career at Villanova, where he appeared in 22 games and broke up 13 passes before transferring to NC State ahead of the 2024 season. He went unselected in the 2026 NFL Draft and signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.
Career highlights
At NC State, Marshall put together a standout two-year run, finishing with 59 tackles and four interceptions across the 2024 and 2025 seasons. He earned Second Team All-American honors from The Athletic and was invited to the East-West Shrine Bowl.
