DJ Glaze has barely left the field since the Raiders drafted him in 2024. The former Maryland left tackle moved to the right side as a pro and has held down a starting job on the offensive line through two full seasons, even as the team around him has churned.
Path to the league
Glaze started all 13 games at left tackle for Maryland in 2021 and again in 2022, posting some of the highest pass-blocking grades among Big Ten tackles both years. He earned Third-team All-Big Ten honors in his final season in 2023. The Las Vegas Raiders selected him in the third round, 77th overall, in the 2024 NFL Draft, making him the highest offensive tackle drafted out of Maryland since 2002.
Career highlights
Glaze moved to right tackle as a rookie and started 14 of 17 games in 2024. He has been durable and productive by snap count, appearing in 34 games with 31 starts through his first two seasons in Las Vegas.
2025 season recap
Glaze held down the Raiders' starting right tackle job throughout the 2025 season. He was not without struggles in pass protection, allowing among the higher sack totals at his position league-wide, and heads into his third season facing renewed competition for the starting job.
