DeLuca, from West Pittston, Pennsylvania, arrived at Penn State as a walk-on recovering from major knee surgery. He earned a scholarship, became a starting linebacker and one of the most decorated special teams players in program history, and was voted a team captain three straight years. He signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent on April 26, 2026.
Career highlights
Over his Penn State career, DeLuca totaled 164 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, five interceptions and two defensive touchdowns. He joins former Penn State teammates Vega Ioane, a first-round pick, and Nick Dawkins, another undrafted signing, on the Ravens roster.
2025 season recap
DeLuca played in 13 games in his final Penn State season, starting nine, and finished with 66 tackles including seven for a loss and two sacks. In the College Football Playoff against SMU, he delivered his two biggest plays of the year, intercepting two passes, including one he returned 23 yards for the game's first score.
