Dylan Laube's road to the NFL started with just a single scholarship offer out of high school. He turned that into an FCS All-America career at New Hampshire and now handles return duties for the Raiders, carving out a role even as the backfield in front of him belongs to others.

Path to the league

Laube was a prolific high school back on Long Island, setting a regional record with 47 touchdowns as a senior, but only New Hampshire offered him a scholarship. He became a multi-purpose star for the Wildcats, leading the FCS in all-purpose yards per game in each of his final two seasons and earning first-team FCS All-American honors. The Raiders drafted him in the sixth round, 208th overall, in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Laube has settled into a special-teams and return role in Las Vegas rather than a featured backfield job. As a rookie in 2024 he appeared in 10 games primarily as a return specialist, picking up 164 kick return yards.

2025 season recap

Laube played in all 17 games for the Raiders in 2025, seeing only a handful of offensive touches (nine rushing yards, 18 receiving yards) while handling most of his workload on special teams, returning 33 kickoffs for 855 yards.
