Ashton Jeanty was the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the highest a running back had gone since Saquon Barkley in 2018. His rookie year delivered the production the Raiders bet on: 975 rushing yards, 55 catches for 346 yards, 10 total touchdowns. He broke Josh Jacobs' Raiders rookie scrimmage record (1,321 yards) despite running behind a line that struggled to open holes.

Boise State product who finished as the 2024 Heisman Trophy runner-up. As a junior he ran for 2,601 yards, the second most in a single FBS season behind only Barry Sanders' 2,628. Won the 2024 Maxwell Award, Doak Walker Award, Bobby Bowden Trophy and Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award.

Rookie season

Led all rookies in rushing yards (975) and scrimmage yards (1,321). 5 rushing TDs and 5 receiving TDs. Named to the 2025 PFWA All-Rookie Team. ESPN noted that 88.5 percent of his yards came after contact among RBs with 200+ carries, the highest such share in the league.
