Frank Crum is an offensive tackle for the Denver Broncos and a Laramie, Wyoming native carrying on a family football legacy. Undrafted out of Wyoming, his rare athleticism for his size helped him win a roster spot and, unexpectedly, a moment as a receiving weapon in the playoffs.
Path to the league
Crum played six seasons at Wyoming from 2018 to 2023, appearing in 55 games with 48 starts. He earned First-team All-Mountain West honors in 2023 after also being a third-team selection in 2022 and an honorable mention in 2021. At the NFL Combine, he turned heads by posting the second-fastest 40-yard dash among offensive linemen. He went unselected in the 2024 NFL Draft and signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent.
Career highlights
Crum's father Gary Crum was an all-conference Wyoming player in the 1980s, and his grandfather Earl played for the Cowboys in 1940, making Frank a third-generation Wyoming football player before his NFL career even began. He made Denver's 53-man roster as a rookie and has developed into a depth tackle who also sees use as a jumbo tight end in short-yardage and goal-line packages.

Crum played across 17 games in 2025 with 2 starts, primarily in a reserve offensive line role. He also flashed as a receiving weapon, catching his first NFL touchdown on a 7-yard pass from Bo Nix in the Divisional Round playoff game against Buffalo, and he blocked an extra point attempt against Kansas City during the regular season.
