Kage Casey started at left tackle for Boise State for three seasons, building a reputation as one of the more reliable pass protectors in the Mountain West before the Denver Broncos drafted him in the fourth round in 2026. The Salem, Oregon native could kick inside to guard at the pro level.
Path to the league
Casey starred at Clackamas High School in Happy Valley, Oregon, before enrolling at Boise State, where he redshirted in 2022 and then took over as the starting left tackle for three straight seasons. Denver selected him in the fourth round, 111th overall, in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Casey earned second-team All-Mountain West and Freshman All-American honors in 2023, then first-team All-Mountain West and second-team All-American recognition in 2024. He capped his career with another first-team All-Mountain West selection in 2025, having played more than 2,500 snaps at left tackle while allowing just six sacks.
2025 season recap
In his final season at Boise State, Casey again anchored the left side of the offensive line and earned first-team All-Mountain West honors. His strong tape as a pass protector, including a Pro Football Focus grade among the best in the country, helped him get drafted in the fourth round, and he signed his rookie contract with Denver on May 20, 2026.
