Path to the league

Helm was a three-star recruit out of Cherry Creek High School in Colorado who chose Texas over offers from Alabama, Auburn and Colorado State. He barely played his first two seasons in Austin before a 60-catch, 786-yard, 7-touchdown senior year in 2024 set single-season records for a Texas tight end and earned him second-team All-SEC honors. The Titans selected him in the fourth round, 120th overall, in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Helm's senior season at Texas was the highlight of his college career, including a 7-catch, 98-yard, 1-touchdown performance against Michigan that turned scouts' heads. He signed a four-year rookie contract with the Titans after being drafted and quickly worked his way into the offense's game plan.
