Notre Dame's all-time leading tackler who joined the Jaguars in the fourth round after five years of special-teams grinding turned into a starting linebacker role.
Jack Kiser spent five seasons in South Bend, patiently working from special teams standout to full-time starter before leaving as Notre Dame's all-time leading tackler. Jacksonville took him in the fourth round of the 2025 draft, and he spent his rookie year mostly on special teams before a hamstring injury ended his season in mid-December.
Path to the league
Kiser won back-to-back state championships at Pioneer Junior-Senior High School in Royal Center, Indiana, and was named the state's Mr. Football in 2018. He played five seasons at Notre Dame, appearing in 70 games with 34 starts, and the Jaguars selected him 107th overall in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Kiser finished his Notre Dame career with 275 tackles, 6.0 sacks, seven pass breakups and two interception-return touchdowns, capping it off with a 2024 senior season in which he started all 16 games and recorded 90 tackles. He left South Bend as the program's all-time leading tackler.
2025 season recap
Kiser signed his four-year rookie contract with Jacksonville in July 2025 and played primarily on special teams as a rookie, appearing in 14 games and recording 14 tackles. He was placed on injured reserve on December 16 with a hamstring injury, ending his first NFL season early.
