Jalen Kimber is a cornerback fighting for a foothold with the Bengals after a college career that took him through Georgia, Florida and Penn State. He went undrafted in 2025 despite running a blazing 4.39-second 40-yard dash at his pro day, and he has since bounced through Tennessee and Buffalo before settling in Cincinnati.
Path to the league
Kimber began his college career at Georgia, where he won a national championship in 2021 before a season-ending shoulder injury limited his snaps. He transferred to Florida for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, then finished his career at Penn State in 2024, where he posted 37 tackles and three pass deflections and helped the Nittany Lions reach the Fiesta Bowl.

2025 season recap
Kimber signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in May 2025 but was waived in August. He landed on the Buffalo Bills' practice squad before being released in October, then joined the Cincinnati Bengals' practice squad in December and signed a reserve/future contract in January 2026.
