Milroe started for two seasons at Alabama, leading the Crimson Tide to the College Football Playoff semifinals in 2023 with 2,834 passing yards, 23 touchdown passes and 531 rushing yards with 12 more scores on the ground. His 2024 season saw his rushing production climb to 726 yards and 20 touchdowns, but his passing efficiency regressed. The Seahawks traded up with the Las Vegas Raiders to select him with the 92nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
