Jarran Reed is a veteran Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle who won a Super Bowl with the team in the 2025 season.
Reed was a second-round pick out of Alabama by the Seahawks in 2016 and spent his early career in Seattle before stints with the Chiefs, Packers and Lions. He returned to the Seahawks in 2023 and has remained a steady interior presence. In 2025 he was part of Seattle's run to a Super Bowl LX title.
Path to the league
Reed chose Alabama over a long list of suitors and made 28 starts in Tuscaloosa before the Seahawks drafted him in the second round in 2016. He posted a double-digit sack season early in his Seattle tenure, then played for the Chiefs, Packers and Lions. He rejoined the Seahawks in 2023 and signed an extension to stay in town.
