Jeremiah Martin's college career began with high expectations as a four-star recruit at Texas A&M, stalled in College Station, then reignited after a transfer to Washington. Since going undrafted in 2023 he has bounced through six organizations, and now looks to carve out a role as a defensive end with the Chicago Bears.
Path to the league
Martin committed to Texas A&M as a four-star recruit but appeared in just nine games over three seasons (2018-2020) there. He transferred to Washington for the 2021 and 2022 seasons and went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft after his breakout senior year.
Career highlights
Martin's best college season came in 2022 at Washington, where teammates voted him a team captain and he posted 41 tackles, 11 for loss and 8.5 sacks in 13 starts, earning first-team All-Pac-12 recognition. That production, a sharp rise from his limited Texas A&M output, made him a priority undrafted signing in 2023.
2025 season recap
Martin has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game. He spent stints with the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Green Bay Packers and the UFL's Arlington Renegades and Birmingham Stallions before joining the New Orleans Saints and then the Chicago Bears in 2025, working primarily on practice squads and reserve/futures deals.
