Jimmy Kibble spent all four college seasons at Georgetown, developing into the Hoyas' top receiving threat and a team captain by his senior year. His production and leadership were enough to earn him a rare NFL opportunity for a Georgetown player, signing with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent after the 2026 NFL Draft.
Path to the league
Kibble arrived at Georgetown from Loudoun County High School in Loudoun County, Virginia, and played all four of his college seasons with the Hoyas. He grew into a full-time starter and was named team captain for his senior season in 2025.
Career highlights
Kibble finished his Georgetown career fourth in program history with 2,593 receiving yards, and was a three-time All-Patriot League selection, earning second-team honors in 2023 and 2024 before a first-team nod as a senior. He was also named to the 2025 Patriot League Academic All-League team, reflecting his standing in the classroom as well as on the field.
2025 season recap
As a senior captain in 2025, Kibble started all 12 games and led Georgetown with 63 receptions for 1,002 yards and four touchdowns, finishing second in the Patriot League in receiving. That performance made him a first-team All-Patriot League honoree and helped him sign with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent, becoming just the fifth Georgetown player since 2007 to sign an NFL free agent deal.
