Path to the league

Farmer was a three-year starter at Florida State from 2021 to 2024, growing from a four-game freshman season into a full-time contributor by his sophomore year. The Patriots traded up to select him 137th overall in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, sending two later picks to Seattle to move into position.

Career highlights

Farmer's best college season came as a junior in 2023, when he recorded 32 tackles, seven for a loss, five sacks and two pass deflections. At 6-foot-3 and roughly 305 to 312 pounds with 35-inch arms, he projects as a versatile rotational piece who can line up at multiple spots along New England's defensive front.

2025 season recap

Farmer appeared in 13 games as a rookie, making three starts, and finished with 15 tackles while working into the Patriots' defensive tackle rotation alongside Christian Barmore, Milton Williams and Keion White. A hamstring injury landed him on injured reserve on December 23, 2025.
