JP Richardson is a wide receiver on the Chicago Bears' active roster who turned heads as an undrafted rookie in 2025 after a productive two-year run at TCU. Football runs in his blood: both his grandfather and father played in the NFL, and an uncle played college ball at Texas Tech.
Path to the league
Richardson, born in Missouri City, Texas, and a product of Ridge Point High School in Sienna, Texas, played two seasons at TCU from 2023 to 2024. He went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft and signed with the Chicago Bears as a free agent that May.
