Path to the league

A Richmond, Virginia native, Clark was a three-year All-ACC performer at Louisville, earning second-team honors in both 2020 and 2021. He was on track for a first-team selection and potential first-round draft stock in 2021 before tearing his ACL. He finished his college career with 127 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, one sack, 23 pass breakups and five interceptions over 31 appearances. The Cardinals selected him in the sixth round (No. 180 overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft.
