Kenny Yeboah made his name in a single dazzling grad-transfer season at Ole Miss, then spent years fighting for roster spots with the Jets and Lions before landing with Arizona. He's the kind of depth tight end who has to earn his roster spot every summer, but his college tape still stands out as one of the best short stretches by a tight end in Ole Miss history.

Path to the league

Yeboah spent four seasons at Temple before transferring to Ole Miss as a graduate transfer in 2020. In his lone year with the Rebels he caught 27 passes for 524 yards and six touchdowns in just seven games, then opted out of the remainder of the season to prepare for the draft. He went unselected in the 2021 NFL Draft and signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent.

Career highlights

His signature college moment came against No. 2 Alabama on October 10, 2020, when he caught seven passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns, setting an Ole Miss single-game receiving record for a tight end. He earned third-team All-SEC honors that season. In the NFL, he spent four seasons with the Jets (2021-2024) before signing with the Detroit Lions in 2025.

2025 season recap

Yeboah's 2025 season with Detroit was cut short by injury; he was placed on injured reserve in August and released that November without appearing in a game. His career NFL production remains modest, with 9 receptions for 111 yards and 1 touchdown across his time with the Jets.
