Path to the league
Herring played four seasons at Georgia from 2017 to 2020, appearing in 52 games with 18 starts and totaling 76 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, four sacks, four passes defensed and a forced fumble. He went undrafted in 2021 and signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, but tore his ACL during Senior Bowl practices that January and missed his entire rookie season recovering.
