A three-stop college linebacker who led Purdue in tackles as a senior, Mani Powell signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent after posting a team-high 110 tackles in 2025.

Mani Powell followed head coach Barry Odom from UNLV to Purdue and became the anchor of the Boilermakers' defense in his final college season. He went unselected in the 2026 NFL Draft but signed with Tennessee shortly afterward, giving the Titans another physical, high-tackle-volume linebacker to develop.

Path to the league

Powell is from Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he was a consensus three-star recruit rated the No. 3 prospect in the state. He began his college career at Arkansas before transferring to UNLV and then following head coach Barry Odom to Purdue, where he played his final season in 2025.

Career highlights

Across three seasons at the FBS level, Powell totaled 173 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks, developing into one of the more productive linebackers in his conference by the time he arrived at Purdue. His 6-foot-2, 230-pound frame and physical downhill style made him a fit for a rotational or special-teams role early in his pro career.

2025 season recap

In his lone season at Purdue, Powell led the Boilermakers with 110 tackles to go with 12 tackles for loss and five sacks, earning third-team All-Big Ten honors. He went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft and signed with the Tennessee Titans as a rookie free agent shortly after the draft concluded.
