Martin Emerson Jr. broke into the league as a productive rookie corner in Cleveland before an Achilles injury cost him the entire 2025 season. The Mississippi State product is looking to reestablish himself after Cleveland moved on from him.
Path to the league
Emerson played three seasons at Mississippi State (2019-21), appearing in 36 games with 28 starts and recording 153 tackles, six tackles for loss, one interception and 16 pass breakups. Cleveland drafted him with the No. 68 overall pick in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
