Quincy Riley is a New Orleans cornerback drafted 131st overall in 2025 out of Louisville. The Columbia, South Carolina native played in all 17 games as a rookie and emerged as a ballhawk in a strong Saints secondary. He started his college career at Middle Tennessee before transferring.
Path to the league
Riley spent 2019-2021 at Middle Tennessee before transferring to Louisville for three seasons. He earned second-team All-ACC honors in 2024, leading the Cardinals with 13 pass breakups and tying for the team lead with two interceptions, and finished his college career with 15 interceptions and 40 passes defended. The Saints took him in the fourth round in 2025.
2025 season
Riley played all 17 games with five starts as a rookie, finishing with 34 tackles (28 solo), 10 pass breakups, one interception, and one forced fumble. His pass-breakup total tied for fourth among rookies. He turned out to be one of the draft's biggest surprises and a key piece of the Saints secondary.
