Quinton Bohanna has made a career out of being a reliable run-stopping presence at nose tackle, moving from Dallas through Detroit, Tennessee, Seattle and Green Bay before landing with the Jacksonville Jaguars. His path reflects the journeyman reality for interior defensive linemen who fill a specific, physical role.
Path to the league
Bohanna played four seasons at Kentucky from 2017 to 2020, appearing in 42 games as a nose guard. As a senior in 2020, he played on a defense that produced five players selected in the 2021 NFL Draft, recording 10 tackles, two for loss, three quarterback hits and two pass breakups himself. The Dallas Cowboys drafted him in the sixth round, 192nd overall, in 2021.
