Raheim Sanders ran for over 3,100 yards across stints at Arkansas and South Carolina, earning First Team All-SEC honors along the way. Undrafted in 2025, he was cut by the Chargers in final roster trimming before Cleveland claimed him off waivers, and he scored his first career NFL touchdown in his debut with the Browns.

Path to the league

Sanders, born in Rockledge, Florida, was a three-sport high school athlete before committing to Arkansas. After an injury-shortened 2023 season, he transferred to South Carolina for his final college year. He went undrafted in 2025, signed with the Los Angeles Chargers, was released in final roster cuts on August 26, and was claimed off waivers by the Browns the next day.

Career highlights

Sanders' breakout came in 2022 at Arkansas, when he rushed for 1,443 yards and 10 touchdowns and earned First Team All-SEC honors. At South Carolina in 2024, he rushed for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns while adding 27 catches for 316 yards, earning Second Team All-SEC recognition. He finished his college career with 3,111 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns on 581 carries.

2025 season recap

After being claimed off waivers by Cleveland, Sanders scored his first career NFL touchdown on a one-yard run in Week 1 against Cincinnati. Through his early appearances with the Browns, he carried the ball for 92 yards on 4 games played, working into the backfield rotation as depth behind Cleveland's other running backs.
