Riley Moss came out of Iowa with a reputation as a ball-hawking corner, and after a slower start to his career he turned into a full-time starter for Denver. Opposing offenses attacked him constantly in 2025, and he answered by breaking up passes at an elite rate.

Moss was a two-time All-Big Ten selection at Iowa and was named the conference's defensive back of the year in 2021, finishing his college career with 11 interceptions. Denver selected him in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft with the 83rd overall pick.
