Roger McCreary spent his first NFL seasons as a defensive backbone for the Titans after entering the league as a decorated Auburn cornerback. Known for his physical, sure tackling style, McCreary quickly became one of Tennessee's most productive defensive backs.
Path to the league
McCreary started three seasons at cornerback for Auburn from 2019 to 2021, racking up 135 tackles, six interceptions and 32 passes defensed. His standout senior year earned him First-Team All-American honors from the Associated Press, ESPN, The Athletic and the Senior Bowl, and the Tennessee Titans drafted him in the second round, 35th overall, of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
McCreary became a defensive mainstay for Tennessee, appearing in 47 games with 35 starts over his first three seasons and leading the team with 220 tackles to go with two interceptions, three sacks and 15 passes defensed.
