Sabastian Harsh signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent after a winding college career that started at Wyoming and ended with a single, productive season at NC State. Path to the league
Harsh was a do-everything athlete at Scottsbluff High School in Nebraska, playing quarterback, linebacker and punter, and he arrived at Wyoming as a walk-on before earning a scholarship. A torn-up 2022 season kept him out entirely, but he battled back to become a starter up front for the Cowboys before transferring to NC State for his final year of eligibility. He went unselected in the 2026 NFL Draft and signed with Houston as an undrafted free agent.

At Wyoming, Harsh earned All-Mountain West honorable mention recognition in 2023 after starting eight of twelve games. He finished his Cowboys career with 40 tackles and 9 tackles for loss in his final healthy season, showing the kind of edge-setting run defense that translated into a role at NC State.
