Sanoussi Kane spent his college career as a hard-hitting captain for Purdue before Baltimore took a late-round flyer on him in 2024. After bouncing on and off the Ravens' practice squad, he landed with the Titans in the closing stretch of the 2025 season, adding depth to a Tennessee secondary looking for reliable tacklers.

Path to the league

Kane played four seasons at Purdue, developing from a reserve into a full-time starting safety and team captain by his senior year. The Baltimore Ravens selected him in the seventh round (250th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Kane's best college season came in 2022, when he led Purdue with 72 tackles after returning from hip surgery. As a senior captain in 2023 he earned All-Big Ten honorable mention, finishing his Boilermaker career with 161 tackles, 10 pass breakups and three forced fumbles.

2025 season recap

Kane spent the first part of 2025 on the Ravens' roster before being waived in early November and re-signed to their practice squad. The Titans signed him off Baltimore's practice squad to their active roster on December 16, 2025, giving him a fresh opportunity to contribute in Tennessee's secondary over the season's final stretch.
