Ratledge redshirted his first year at Georgia after limited early playing time, then developed into a four-year starter at right guard, starting 37 games in Athens. The Lions traded up three spots to select him with the 57th overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, sending two picks to Denver to move up.
