Travis Homer has never been a featured back, but he has stayed on NFL rosters for seven seasons because of what he does when the offense is off the field. A core special teamer since entering the league with Seattle, he now brings that same role to Pittsburgh.

Path to the league

Homer ran for 1,995 yards and 12 touchdowns on 334 carries over three seasons at the University of Miami. Seattle selected him in the sixth round, 204th overall, in the 2019 NFL Draft.
