Travis Hunter is the closest thing the modern NFL has produced to a true two-way player. The Jaguars took him third overall in 2025 with the explicit plan of using him on offense and defense. As a rookie he caught 52 passes for 690 yards as a WR2 and added 12 pass breakups as a part-time CB.

Colorado product who flipped his commitment from Florida State as a five-star recruit. Won the 2024 Heisman as the first true two-way player to take home the trophy. Jaguars traded up to take him third overall in 2025.

52 catches for 690 yards and 5 TDs on offense. 35 tackles, 12 pass breakups and 1 INT on defense. Jacksonville won the AFC South at 13-4. His snap split (roughly 70% offense, 30% defense) is the most ambitious two-way usage of any NFL player in 60 years.
