Trevis Gipson has carved out a journeyman's path since Chicago drafted him in 2020, bouncing through Jacksonville, Seattle and San Francisco before landing back on Carolina's roster in 2025. He remains a reliable rotational edge presence who can still get after the quarterback.
Path to the league
Gipson was a two-year starter at Tulsa, earning first-team All-American Athletic Conference honors as a senior after posting 49 tackles and eight sacks. The Chicago Bears selected him in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
