Trevor Siemian is a veteran quarterback who signed with the Atlanta Falcons in 2026 to add depth out of Northwestern.
Siemian began as a Day 3 pick in Denver and started games during the Broncos' post-Peyton Manning years. He has bounced around as a backup since. Atlanta signed him in March 2026 as a No. 3 option behind Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa.
Path to the league
Siemian played college football for Northwestern and was selected by Denver in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He started for the Broncos in 2016 and 2017 following Peyton Manning's retirement. He has since played for Minnesota, the Jets, New Orleans and others.
2025 season
Siemian spent time on the Tennessee Titans' practice squad in 2024 and 2025, per coverage of the signing. The Falcons signed him on March 24, 2026, to provide quarterback depth behind Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa. His last regular-season action came in 2023 with the Jets.
