Treylon Burks arrived in the NFL as the centerpiece of the trade that sent AJ Brown to Philadelphia, and the physical, do-it-all receiver skill set that made him a first-round talent at Arkansas has never been in question. Durability has been the recurring obstacle, and he now looks to carve out a steady role after years of injury-shortened seasons.

Path to the league

Burks was a four-star recruit and the No. 1 prospect in Arkansas in the 2019 class before starring for the Razorbacks. As a junior in 2021 he caught 66 passes for 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns, earning first-team All-SEC honors. Tennessee traded up to select him 18th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, using the pick acquired in the AJ Brown deal.

Career highlights

Burks started six of 11 games as a rookie in 2022, finishing with 33 receptions for 444 yards and a touchdown. Injuries, including a fractured collarbone suffered in the summer of 2025, have repeatedly interrupted his development and limited him from ever reaching a full 17-game season as a featured receiver.

2025 season recap

Burks' 2025 season was cut short after he fractured his collarbone in a Titans practice in late July, landing him on injured reserve. In the limited action he did see, he managed a modest 10 catches for 130 yards on 22 targets in a rotational role before the injury ended his year.
