Trikweze Bridges was a seventh-round pick of the Chargers who did not even make it through Los Angeles's initial roster cuts, but Dallas scooped him up off waivers within a day and he has since found a home at cornerback for the Cowboys.

Path to the league

Bridges was a decorated Alabama prep prospect, tying a state record with 36 career interceptions in high school. He played five seasons at Oregon before transferring to Florida for his final year in 2024, where he recorded 70 tackles, six pass deflections and two interceptions. The Chargers picked him 256th overall in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
