Path to the league

Dye was a four-year starter at Oregon, the only player in program history to lead the team in tackles in four consecutive seasons, finishing with 391 career tackles, fourth all-time in Ducks history. The Minnesota Vikings selected him in the fourth round (132nd overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Dye spent four seasons with the Vikings before joining the Chargers, building a reputation as one of the league's more valuable special-teams contributors while also filling in capably at linebacker. His most productive Vikings season came in 2023, when he recorded 17 tackles, a sack, and two quarterback hits.

2025 season recap

Dye started a career-high seven games for the Chargers in 2025 while filling in for an injured Denzel Perryman, posting career highs of 58 tackles and five tackles for loss to go with a sack, four pass breakups, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
