Will Sheppard is a physical 6-foot-3 receiver who built his reputation over four seasons at Vanderbilt before a one-year stop at Colorado turned him into a favorite target of quarterback Shedeur Sanders. After a rocky undrafted path in 2025, he has settled in with the Green Bay Packers.
Path to the league
Sheppard starred at Mandeville High School in Louisiana before spending four seasons at Vanderbilt, where he broke out in 2022 with 60 receptions for 776 yards and 9 touchdowns, earning second-team All-SEC honors. He entered the transfer portal in December 2023 and joined Colorado for the 2024 season, catching 48 passes for 621 yards and 6 touchdowns as a red-zone target in Deion Sanders' offense.

2025 season recap
Undrafted in 2025, Sheppard initially agreed to terms with Tampa Bay, but that deal fell through after he failed a physical. He worked out with Denver during minicamp before signing with the Green Bay Packers on July 21, 2025. He made the practice squad, was elevated to the active roster, and signed a reserve/future contract with Green Bay in January 2026.
