NFL Renews DraftKings, FanDuel Deals, Adds Fanatics as Betting Partner
The league restores its official sportsbook partnerships after going without one since March, while also naming Fanatics its official online casino marketing partner.
The NFL has reached multiyear agreements renewing DraftKings and FanDuel as official sportsbook partners and adding Fanatics to the group, restoring official betting partnerships the league had been without since the prior deals expired in March.
What's new about the Fanatics addition?
Beyond joining as a sportsbook partner, Fanatics is also named the league's official online casino marketing partner, extending the NFL's gambling-industry relationships beyond straight sports betting.
What do the deals actually cover?
Financial terms weren't disclosed beyond the deals being multiyear. The partnerships give the operators access to official NFL data, in-game advertising rights, and use of league and team intellectual property. A league spokesperson said operators must use official data to advertise during games in order to meet the NFL's integrity requirements, and the league continues to prohibit bets tied to officiating, injuries or other easily manipulated individual outcomes.
